This moment arrived for the 2009 MBA aspirants between 8^th Feb to 15^th Feb 2009 at ICC, Senapati Bapat Road, Pune, where the centralized admissions process was held for the year 2009. Spread across a span of 7 days the process saw approximately 2300 aspirants coming from across the length and breadth of the country with dreams to be a part of the B-school saga.. The entire process was designed by a team of HR students from the 2007-2009 batch. It consisted of a Group Discussion of 30 minutes. Unlike last year, this time the group discussion was not an elimination round. The GD round was followed by the Personal Interview round conducted by a panel which mostly consisted of our Faculty, Alumni , distinguished personalities from various industries and officers who have excelled in the field of Defence and Military.   

The admissions team slogged day and night to make the process successful. Admission drives were conducted at various cities pre and post SNAP to create awareness about SNAP and SCMHRD.  For the GD-PI process from getting eminent panellists to guiding the aspirants through the process, every single detail was planned and well taken care off. The students of MBA-1 came forward to help with the execution of the process. They helped with the initial induction, co-ordination of GD-PI and the verification of documents. They also made all the candidates feel at home with their friendly banter which soothed their frayed nerves.  This won a lot of praise from the aspirants as well as their parents and the GD-PI  process was hailed as one of the best among all B-schools’ in the country as per the comments in Pagalguy and other online MBA forums.
